‘You wouldn’t have forgotten,’ she said.
He touched her face, ran his finger-tip down the rim of her ear.
‘Not you.’
Later, he said:
‘I wish you could come with me to see the Prophet.’
‘I do too; but it’s not wise.’
‘I know.’
