The third — and last section of the TOMORROW almanac concludes with grotesque short stories by celebrated Russian satirists of the early 20th century Osip d’OR and Arkady AVERCHENKO, by present-day satirist Mikhail USPENSKY, as well as aphorisms by Natan PERELMAN, professor of music, and writer Victor SHENDEROVICH.

Рисунки во втором выпуске альманаха ЗАВТРА напомнят вам о самых разных фантастических идеях, проектах, изобретениях. Среди их авторов немало блистательных имен:

Сирано де Бержерак, Роберт Бойль. Исаак Ньютон, Бенджамин Франклин, Джованни Скиапарелли, Леонардо да Винчи… Гениальный создатель «Джоконды», изобретавший парашют и маховые крылья для человека, заботился и о куда более обыденных надобностях.

Вот формула одного из его изобретений:

«Сидению нужника дай поворачиваться, как окошечку монахов, и возвращаться в свое первое положение противовесом.

Крышка над ним должна быть полна отверстий, чтобы воздух мог выходить». Пояснительный рисунок Леонардо — на обложке альманаха.
